As I swim in murky water,
My tail flipping,
Something that is
Emerald green and
Neon orange
Dark chocolate brown
And murky white is swimming by me. Is it another fish?
Oh no! A duck
Is moving towards me.
Thump thump
M heart beats as I feel like prey
Gwaack gwwack
The duck ignores me.
But as I should know,
Ducks aren’t like that.
Glub glub
It’s dark and blurry…
As pitch black as it could be, I notice I am not in he water!
Instead, to any fish’s delight, in a duck mouth,
You see.
I squirm and fidget and try to
Flee,
I warn the fish
I am not a good morsel
With poison in my blood.
Lucky I am to force the fish to let me go,
(my ancestors always fail.)
It drops o hard, dry
Land.
A country by picks me up
Fishy, fishy!
But he will not replace me.
Oh dear!
